Search "vats"

$5 in resistors at most plus a multimeter and some butt connectors and its solved.

hey. wat he said. check to see if your security light is on when u try to start the car. if it is, then you probably have a problem with your vats.

Re: MY 92 CAMARO RS WON'T TURN OVER!!!

I dont know. Never paid attention to how long the vats light came on. To me the starter should at least click. If the lights are all coming on and the starter doesnt click and the security light is coming on... that screams VATS to me. Either the starter is seized or its a VATS issue. I doubt the battery can really die while getting gas. Hit the starter with a hammer, if that doesnt do it, it's likely VATS.

Seriously, do a search.

When my car did it, it would only do it sometimes. Once VATS is tripped it disables the starter for a few minutes. After that you can try again. If you go back and it starts just fine.... its prob VATS. Sometimes they just fail completely out of nowhere though.

Re: MY 92 CAMARO RS WON'T TURN OVER!!!

you could try to lay sumthing metal across starter terminals to see if it turns over. that will tell u if the starter is still workin or not. if it is, and you say its not the vats, then it could b a broken wire in your column. u may need a temporary push button start if the starter is still workin.

if its not, then the starter is ur problem.
good luck.
