Ahhh I finally did it I ripped out the hacked in MSD ignition box that the PO spliced into the ignition coil and distributor. However the problem is now I don't know what wire goes where. The big fat Pink wire I know goes to the wire loom I was able to match that one up. I do not know where the other 3 go. Coming off the coil There is a skinny pink wire next to a white wire, then there is a white wire with some sort of connector on the end of it next to the fat pink wire. The wires coming off the distributor are both white so I'm not sure where they go, somebody please help my 1990 IROC is now disabled and I wanna drive it.

 

please please can somebody look at their stock camaro and let me know what wire goes where

 

On the diagram the wire marked TO IGN is the heavy pink, it is paired with the one that goes to the tach (white).

The pair that go between the coil and the module are pink & white. White going to the C terminal and pink going to the + terminal.

Note that within the coil the Tach lead and the C (on ICM) are tied together. Same for the pink wires, heavy pink is power to coil, which feeds through and provides power to ICM.

Thank you very much I hope this takes care of my problem I need to order a new connector now cause the stock wire is now ripped away from the connector ahhh it is all screwed up, why do people do this to camaros... I mean have some respect

Standard Motor Products makes the connectors. You just have to join them together. Try these part #'s:

Any auto parts store on earth can either order a Standard part, or at least cross it and get what you need.

 

Many TBI trucks and cars use that wire set. U-pull-it yard, hit the '87 - '92 vans and pickups. Also the same year Caprice's and the wagons. Get a spare one too as the wire sometimes breaks internally where it exits the coil connector.
