idle problem. please help!

idle problem. please help!
so i got my car running good but theres still one little problem. it seems that my care is idling too high. i backed off the adjustment screw and its all the way backed off. my timing is set to 6* btdc. any ideas?!

That's not an idle adjustment screw. The IAC adjusts the idle speed. My suggestion is that you first make sure that you have no vacuum leaks, then set you base idle and TPS voltage. There are threads that outline the procedure in detail.

Now that you've backed off that screw you have two problems to fix.
You will have to find the cause of your high idle, and then reset your minimum air rate and TPS.
