Cold Air Intake from Ebay. Will it fit?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/330548988551...ht_4076wt_1396

Well i've seen this and I am wondering.

Why wont it fit on a Camaro?

I own a 87 IROC 5.7 and I've been thinking about getting an intake like this or building my own. This seems pretty cheap ( I might just use it as reference to make my own) And of course I will shroud it off to protect from heat.

that, And our camaro might not have the area where this item
sucks air from, given the front bumper cover areas are very different per car.

you are correct the stock placement of the air intake is really pretty good for getting cold air and yes this kit will work im using a red one now and it works great on my firebird, I noticed a difference in throttle response and low end acceleration and a throaty sound too....

Yea I know they are good but mine is kinda cracked apart and I just wanted to give something like this a try.

Going to the junkyard this week where I know there are a few IROCs and hopefully will be able to pick one up.

So I will mostly likely buy this and it will be next weekends project!

Take some pics if you put an aftermarket cold air on it... I'd like to see how you work around the battery.

I would just switch the battery to the driver side

Easiest way is to rob everything for the battery & air intake from a JY Firebird.

Look at the ebay pic again. It has the MAF & Firebird location filter. The pic has your answer.
