Whats this

some sort of ground
Smog Pump... where does that connect to?
Small cable... dunno what it is... thanks for the help
Re: Whats this
First pic engine ground, needs to attach to the back of the cyl head.
Second pic, look for the part of the air system that doesn't have anything connected to it (the crossover pipe from the driver side manifold, the down pipe to the converter or the pass side manifold)
Third could be the vacuum hose that goes to the heater diverter valve, hard to tell from that pic/angle

Re: Whats this
1. should go to a bolt on the rear-facing surface of the pass side head
2. hard to tell which one it is for sure, but either goes to the AIR pump, or to one of the AIR check valves
3. vacuum line in HVAC system; could be either the "supply" line, or the one to the heater control valve

Re: Whats this
Needs to connect to a firm bolt on the block/heads that won't come undone; vc nuts tend to back off over time.

Re: Whats this
Yeah its a very tough spot to work in. I get em from the bottom with the trans Xmember undone.
That air tube also goes to the ground stud on the back of the head.

Re: Whats this
My ground is just connected to the rear-most header bolt. Of course I have no smog/AC/heater/kitchen sink to get in the way...

Re: Whats this
Is the last one a small cable or a vacuum line. If it's a vacuum line check this out https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tbi/...egr-valve.html scroll down and find the diagram
