I Been Having This Issue For a While Now But Cant seem To Get To The Source Of My Problem. When I open The Throttle it idles down like if it wants to turn off i had taken it to the shop a week ago and but it thru a scanner and the TPS wasnt working they laughed when i said i got it at auto zone so i went out and bought a better quality TPS it fixed my problem a little but came back a few moments later what can cause this because i think i might just go to a LT1 because its just about what i spent into fixing it so far any suggestion would be very appreciated i did start a thread a while ago but died out

Maybe Mass Air Flow Sensor? Changed Just about everything i could think of except ECM and Fuel Pressure Regulator

 

Throwing any codes?

 

No Codes But it through a diagnostic scanner and nothing TPS has correct voltage its on .54

 

Have you checked the fuel pressure?

 

Fuel Pressure is at 38 when idling could it be something electrical that's lose because i could be driving fine then the engine starts to act like that out of no were and sometimes fixes itself but that's rare when it does that other then those rare moments i cant press the gas or it will die
fuel pump is new i also changed the injectors maybe something in the distributor?

 

Check the ecm grounds, should be behind the pass side head.

 

try to clean the mass air sensor and change the gas filter and check the spark plugs

 

Just Finished Testing the grounds with a test light and they checked out ok

 

How Do you clean a Mass Air Flow Sensor??
is it possible that spark plugs can do this doesnt seem like it could be possible?
