I need expert help!!! Very difficult problem to fix..

I have a 91 camaro 305 TPI. My car wont start and it I have replaced all of these:
Fuel pump
fuel filter
CTS
IAC
TPS
O2 sensor
OPSU
FUel pump relay

I have checked for spark and its all good. Also checked grounds and cleaned them. I dont have a pressure gauge. The pump primes. I even jumpered the wires to make it run while the car is off and tried starting it that way, still no start? I can get it to start with starter fluid.

It'll crank, sometimes catch, rev up, then die. I have good new fuel in it and I am at my wits' end on this! Please if anyone can steer me in a direction I would appreciate it!

EDIT: Oh, my bad.....I missed the part about that it will start with starter fluid. In that case I'd say the chip reader is fine. I'd say buy/beg/borrow a fuel pressure gauge & start there.

Do you have a spare key? It has the same resistor in it so you can try starting it with that. Also, do you have an alarm?

I Edited my first response before I saw your Reply to it.....

Just because the fuel pump is turning on does not mean that it is providing enough pressure for the injectors to fire correctly. See what your fuel pressure is.

Its a brand new fuel pump. Ill try and get a pressure gauge. Is it possible that my fuel pressure regulator is shot?

Not unheard of to have brand new pumps be bad. But I'd also look at the pressure regulator before assuming the problem is the pump because it is the regulator that controls the amount of pressure it can reach more so than the pump. The pump could be perfectly fine but if the regulator is bad it could be "leaking" fuel back to the tank before the required pressure needed is reached.

Above the TPI base, between the runners & below the TPI plenum. Yup....."inside" all of that. Not real hard to reach, just a good deal of pieces & perts hafta come off to get to it. If your planning on upgrading later or increasing the power then I highly recommend putting in an Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator since your already in there. Easier to do is now then hafta dig in a second time.

Not the best links I found in my quick search but they should get you started at least. Might be better links about it off-site too, I didn't Google. Looking for threads or articles on TGO about it, I found:

Good pic at least of showing the FPR.

Ohm test your injectors. And get a fuel pressure gauge.

Re: I need expert help!!! Very difficult problem to fix..

How are your oil pressure senders? you should have one for the gauge, and another larger one for the fuel pump relay circuit. If the oil pressure safety switch is bad/missing/unhooked you will have problems starting the car.

Have you verified that the fuel injectors are shooting fuel?

Re: I need expert help!!! Very difficult problem to fix..

does the check engine light come on with the key on and engine off?
if not, check the ecm fuses.
if it still doesn't work, check the bulb...
that light tells you that the ecm works- no light means the ecm doesn't work..
