How hard is it to install a High Performance Prom chip?

Hello, I'm currently having VATS issues with my 1989 Firebird 305 TBI
Which has brought these prom chips to my attention

I'm looking for one that removes VATS as well as tunes the car

How hard are these to install?

Does anyone have any recommendations on who to get the chip from?

All input would be greatly appreciated, I would like to order a chip today!

Send your chip to Brian at tuned performance on here. 1 week turnaroud, he's in Colorado, does great job taking out ANYTHING YOU DO NOT WANT.

Piece of cake to install...simple R&R from your computer

And you are sure you have a VATS issue?

Thanks for the advice!, I have contacted Brian, waiting on a reply.

How do i install it?

Does it require any special tools or any other parts?

Yes i am positive it's a VATS issue, Car would not turn over, I bypassed the VATS module using a jumper made of spare wire, which allowed me to turn over the car, but wont start of course.

Disconnect battery, pull down your computer, remove 2 screws on cover on the top of computer, were some rubber gloves or wrist staps, release the two clips holding in the chip and gently remove chip straight up. That's it. Then install by inserting chip till it seats, replace cover, stow computer, attach battery, start car and let it go threw it's motions.
