It has been an issue since i got the car.I got the trans gears dialed in hoping that was the problem,but no.It is dead on until 50 ish.My gut tells me there is a problem with the speedo head.I will pull the cable,clean and lube it next.

No, his cable is slipping and getting caught up (1 after the other...). I went threw this myself WAY back in the day. Guy needs to get a econobox daily driver. His pinch welds and front left corner floor metal aren't going to last long...

I have had a drill turning the cable .Seems fine.I will pull the cable out of the housing and check and lube it. Its not a daily driver,I drive my old TPI 67 gmc pickup everyday.Iroc is for nice and dry days.

Do you have headers? I have read that with headers, the cable gets melted where it comes really close to the pipes. Check for that and you might need to add some heat shielding.
