Speedometer and tachometer not working

Say I was wondering I'm back working on my 92 Z28 Camaro 5.7 TPI and the tachometer stopped working well the needle has been moving up and down while driving and today it stopped working and the speedometer has not worked sense I've gotten the car and I was wondering could the small plug in circuit board on the tach and speedo has gone bad.

One thing that comes to mind is following that wire up the harness to make sure it’s not grounding out on something and/or open since you mention it flickers only sometimes.

WC Autoparts is Greg. He's on this board. Send him a message. Guy seems like he knows about all there is to know about third gen gauges.
