Help! My IAC valve wires might be crossed.

So, the harness / clip on my IAC wiring harness dry-rotted and snapped and now I have no way of knowing which way the harness plugs into the IAC valve (there's no clear indication which way is up). It's a 2 over 2 clip, with 2 green and 2 blue wires (each with white and black stripes). The bird is a 1992 305, anyone know the correct coloring position of the wires and can explain which position they plug in? I have a new harness I need to wire in..

Thanks!

If the plastic is broken best not to splice just unpin the weather pack connector.

I found that diagram, but it's hard to follow. Since the wiring positions are stacked and the diagram is flat. Also, not sure what you mean by unpinning the weather pack connector.

Look at the letters on the connector. You can release the connector by inserting a release too. Retention the connector ears and install in the new connector housing.

Thanks a BUNCH! Got it figured out. AND replacing the IAC valve fixed my low idle. It would almost die when I put it in gear from park. Idling perfect now and starts right up into a smooth idle.
