What size motor? What kind of car? What's the intended use? What cam? What pistons (i.e. what kind of compression are you going to end up with)? Exhaust? Converter? Gears? Why no decent choices, just a bunch of bottom-of-the barrel crap smogger stock heads in the first place?
Re: Need some advice on heads
Motor is a l48 350 the car is a 84 firebird intended use is a summer and fall car street use no tracks will ever been seen by it has flat top pistons 40 over has eps performer intake 650 edelbrock carb and cam depends on the heads I choose and why choose one of the ones I listed is because that is what I can afford for now like I said I know there are may better options out there but these are what I have to work with for now

Of all those choices I would pick the set not cracked and in best shape I guess but then you get to waste money on a second set of gaskets when you install proper heads.
Just sit on it and wait until you can afford something proper nothing worse than buy twice cry once

I'd recommend waiting another paycheck or 2 and getting something decent. No sense in shooting your whole wad on a bunch of garbage, then being no better off than you are now and in fact WORSE OFF because now your wallet is empty.
882, 624, and 993 are common on L48. Of course you don't have a "L48"; those didn't come .040" over or with flat tops, and just about any motor that IS .040" over, is no longer the same as any L anything. Might be close or might not. But even at that, a .040" motor is usually a "rebuilder special" (wouldn't go .030" so they punched it out 1 more) and is therefore likely to have crap like 614, 882, etc. on top of it. I'm gonna guess then that the "cam" is a 929 replica, as would be typical in such a situation. (and would have been the stock one in a L48 for that matter) Keep in mind that virtually any .040" over "flat tops" will add the usual .020" of extra "rebuilder" deck clearance, meaning they're now most likely somewhere around .050 - .060" down in the hole at TDC.
Keep your money in your pocket until you can spend it in some way that actually accomplishes something.

882s , get a cheap Summit K1103 cam it will be a decent cruiser. Save up some $ for Vortecs in the meantime.

ANY of those only if they're free, the gaskets are free, the fluids and whatnot are all free, and labor is free.
Otherwise, if it costs even ONE CENT, keep your money in your pocket, and save up for something decent. Vortecs being the obvious goal here.
EVERY DIME you put into that GARBAGE, moves you FARTHER from something good. Delay your instant gratification of "doing something even if it's useless" in favor of ACCOMPLISHMENT a little further down the road.

062 is 96-2000 Vortec. The other casting # for them is 906.
Those require a different intake.
They are indeed the ones to get, in 2021. Keep your money in your pocket until you are prepared for those.
187 is TBI monkey excrement. 185 is 307 2-bbl stuff; elephant plop. (big difference there between monkeys and elephants, right?)
