Does anyone know where I can find gears, carrier etc for the nine bolt other than the website nine bolt?

Re: Nine bolt rear end 89 Camaro

Jegs, Hawks, and even Amazon lists some parts. Of course, there are more specialist vendors, like 9bolt.com, Ratechmfg.com, and BTR in Australia. It seems that the majority of available parts are for the larger carriers (3.27 ratio and up).

This older thread is a pretty good summary, although some of the links may be outdated: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/faq-...now-about.html

Check out Drive Train Specialists out of Michigan.

https://www.drivetrainspecialists.com/

The BW 9 bolt is listed under GM as the GM 7.75" (9 bolt Borg-Warner).

I think Yukon Gear still carries a 3.73, you'll have to get the 4.11 from 9bolt. Oh and they're noisy...

Yah I was looking into them, but I guess their production is overseas and quality assurance has gone down. Plus like you said, they are noisy. I’m just going to have to order from 9bolt. Wish I could speak to them on the phone but no contact number. I know they are overseas, but still.

Re: Nine bolt rear end 89 Camaro

Fair enough.
They had what I needed for one of my 9 bolt rebuilds but that was a few years back.
Thought it was worth a shot.

Yah looks like I’m going to have to spend a little with 9bolt. I was going to look at getting a 10 bolt from a scrapyard but would still have to rebuild it probably

Re: Nine bolt rear end 89 Camaro

Motive sells a 3.7:1 gear set:

Do a search on Amazon for: Motive Gear GM9-370 Differential Ring and Pinion Fits GM 7.75 (M78)

I purchased a series 3 carrier from 9bolt.com I would caution anyone that buys a carrier from them to change the bearings as the ones on mine were obviously used and trash. Will be installing this with all new bearings tomorrow.
