Tell us:
- Year of your car
- Current engine in your car
- Transmission type in your car
- What you expect out of this car
Some generalities:
To get even close to what it's capable of producing, you'll need good exhaust and air cleaner/ducting. Figure on headers, high-flow or dual cats, 3" cat-back. All emissions legal, by the way.
If TBI, your boundries are going to be a bit confining without some serious toying around. But, it's possible. Improved air cleaner a must.
If carb, you're in pretty good shape. The CC system is quite adaptable. Improved air cleaner a must unless you already have an HO/L69.
If TPI, the expense is probably the greatest, but the daily-driver-ness is also arguably the best.
Regardless which of the above you have, a computer-compatible cam would be a good idea.

Tell you what, you do what I did, you will be AMAZED!
For a 350, get S/R Torquer 64cc, 2.02/1.60 heads instead & do the Standard Abrasives porting job. Use 4-valve-relief flat-top pistons in the rebuild, composite head gasket, you'll have around 9.5:1 compression. My cam in that engine would act even more mildly, higher stall converter would still be very helpful, though. Headers a must, you pick the brand. You've already got the good air cleaner. The cat & cat-back are decent on an L69, but 3" would be even better. The intake manifold is optional, but if you keep what you've got, at least gasket match it. Your ignition will need upgrading if it's still stock.
Hope you have posi and subframe connectors. If not, you're going to need them.
All this would keep you smog legal (they don't have to know it's a 350, you know...). Purr like a kitten, growl like a tiger.

The cam is in my sig. If you called up Summit and told them you want a Crane flat-tappet computer compatible PowerMax 2050 cam kit, that's what they'd send you. I'm assuming your 350 is a flat-tappet style cam.
S/R Torquer is a brand name of heads made by World Products (www.worldcastings.com). Specifically, they make what they call "stock replacement" or S/R heads, and "stock replacement Torquer", or S/R Torquer heads, all from new castings. The "Torquer" part is a slightly better performance style head, highly recommended if you go with the 350.
You're looking at a few grand to do this with all the supporting parts, if you want to do it right. And, if everything is in good shape (carb, ignition) and you keep your mouth shut about it being a 350, you will pass emissions testing.

ok im on a very small budget ive got about a 1000 bucks to throw into this engine for now which i know isnt much. but thats just for now im planning on doing bolt ons as i can. and i didnt see the cam in your sig i dont even see your sig. for now im just going to go with the stock heads or should i throw my 305 heads on it instead i hear that can sometimes be better. this is my first time doing this as im pretty sure yall can tell.
