My Friend took the wrong race!

Me and my friend were out crusin last night just for the hell of it in his fourth gen Camaro. Well on the way home on this long in the middle of nowhere highway, we get this black 4th gen camaro come right up on our a**. Well my friend Kyle thinks its one of his buddys from work...so we punchin and he hangs right with us til about 110 then he hits the lights and the strobes. WTF!?! Well he just gave us this big lecture on racing and excessive speeds, and said he figured we'd do what we did. So he gave us a 63 in and 55. :\ Gotta love the unmarked camaros around here

Yea the B4C's suck when the cops have them but, sooner or later they will wind up in the hands of the public. And trust me they are a freakin' blast, their are amazing.
Later, Garrett

You notice that he only marked it as a 63 in a 55 because if he would have marked it as higher questions would have been asked as to why he pulled someone over at 110+ mph from a go. I presume that you could try and say that he insighted the race and got you with entrapment. You can always try.:lala:

Sounds like a decent cop...

Whatever you do, ENTER GUILTY!

The entrapment thing just wont work, plain and simple. Your word vs. his. If you get into it in court and the word "race" comes up, some judges will slap you with a drag racing ticket faster than you can blink(you dont want one of these). Legaly, drag racing is defined as ANY sort of acceleration contest between 2 or more cars.

Pay your ticket, learn your lesson.

Dont race a black camaro without first looking for little lights in hatch .

-Doug

Always plead not guilty and try to at least and get it reduced. You are sure to get a raise in insurance from that if you don't.

Sounds to me like the cop instigated it, I don't think that's very fair.

That's like taking a kid into a candy store and teasing, taunting, and tempting him with the candy until he takes a piece, and then smacking him on the wrist and yelling at him for it.

Yeah, those damn unmarked cars are a bitch. Fortunatly, the only two camaro's that the Troopers have around here are marked.

I'd say your really lucky man, I just got a ticket for "negligent driving" for weaving IN my lane. I was doing 25mph in a 35mph but since I was coming froma car show she said I was getting a ticket. and a ticket like that is half of your license, it sucked....
