Another modified 5.0 Mustang kill

Coming down I95 on my way home from the Central Virginia Mustang Club's show today, a primered fox body rode by and threw a rev at me. I noticed a Trick Flow sticker in the 1/4 window and it sounded pretty nasty, so I followed him until we could get some room to run from about 55 mph. He downshifted and punched it first, and I followed right after. Ran up to about 5500 in 3rd (~100 mph) and had 2 1/2 - 3 cars on him when I shut down.

Here's an excerpt from a friend I was playing around with on the highway today too...
Floda5Oh: my car might be loud when it rumbles by...but yours was incrediably loud when you kicked it down today...heh
NicTrickFlow5pt0: so i've heard...i never thought my car was very loud, but amelia said it was louder than steve's lincoln at WOT
Floda5Oh: i dont know what Steve's lincoln sounds like...but yours is DAMN loud!
NicTrickFlow5pt0: edlebrock heads, cobra intake, B-cam, offroad H, 2 chamber flows
Floda5Oh: and its so abrupt...with your rev/man. valve body...so there isnt any hint of whats to come

You're lucky, I have spent hours at a time for days cruising for a race while not even seeing a car that looks like it even runs high 14's. Actually, in the year my new engine has been in, I have only found 4 races on the street. A highly modded, fully gutted racing Porsche with a SBC in it, a HOT cammed LT1 Camaro, and 2 Audi TT's

I spend a lot of time around car-related events...cruise-ins, races, shows...most of my races either happen en route to or leaving those.
