So I was behind this Celica GTS , standard tranny, fart pipe and rims, he revs up and the light goes green and he takes of smooth, and he floors it, so I get on it about half throttle, and am on his ***, when I get the chance I let off and get on the lane next to him and showed him some GTA tail lights.....pretty sweet kill...so the next light he is behind me and revs up his engine and I spin first, second and hook in third and saw his lights gettin smaller and smaller by the higher RPM's....AARON

 

haha, yea, that celica sure does "look fast"

unfortunately, most of the time, it's "not" fast

was it a new one or an older one? when the new ones came out i had no idea what they were and i thought they were nice looking, until everybody and their sister got one.

good kill, sometimes those idiots with a car that "looks fast" need to be put in their place. gotta love those commercials though

Nah, just some, like Tiberons, Celicas, Eclipses, I guess for some reason everytime I see Celicas or Eclipses , I would say 95% of the time there is a hot girl driving one. Weird, but it's true.

I like the look of the older style Eclipses though.

there is a guy with a new celica GTS...
has a intake ,exhaust and a carbon fibre hood..
and runs 10.9-11.4 in the 1/8th

he was talkin crap until he went to the local dragstrip
and lost to a whole bunch of guys..it was real funny
watching him run against those torque monsters..lol

he even got smoked by a guy in a pickup ...lol

 

what sucks about the Celica GT-S is they sell them with an AUTOMATIC too.. A lot of people KILL the automatics and assume all celica's are slow.

Fact is I've seen several 00's and 01's running 14.3-14.7 with bolt on's.. That's not bad at all. Of course those were all manuals but hey..

The 02's, well those are a different story. When they cut the RPMS out right after the peak HP figures in, you kind of shoot yourself in the foot..

Imagine if you had to shift at 3500-4000 rpms instead of 5500.. That would suck wouldn't it? Apparently the 03' model got the fuel cut off moved back up to where it was in 00 and 01'...

he means intake exaust headers ect those are thing that bolt write on hence the name bolt on..... 14.7 i can believe but 14.3 WTF they bolting on car runs 15's stock, dont have much torque and not many bolt ons are available

 

Have to agree with MarkAShields. I have yet to see an eclipse that was not driven by a hot chick.

Eclipse, tiburon, celica, COUGAR....All girls cars.

I like it when I see girls driving camaros. Most drive 4th gens tho.

Mustangs are also chick cars..not the 5.0s though. But the newer mustangs are chick cars.

Back in 996-98 it was eclipses...after that started the mustang swing.
