I was going to Pick-n-Save with the girlfriend at 10pm last night (hotpockets good rain bad) and end up stopped at a stop light. As we where waiting i noticed a nice 79?(square headlights) Z-28 pull out from behind us and it gets in the left lane behind a 4 door econ box, I am in the right lane. THe light turns green and the z28 just spins in the water, i wait up for him (doing about 20)to check the car out, he gets up to me, i hammer it and go to 35(speed limit) then he hammers it thinking i want to all out race and he goes fly past me into the oncoming traffics lane(no one out at that time) and flys past the econobox. In conclusion that guy is psycho, full throttle out when it is raining, thought for sure it was going to see berrys and cherrys:nono:

 

really. if i go 1/2 throttle in the rain ill be sideways.

79 Z28 had round headlights, all camaros from 70-81 had round headlights and square turn signals.

thats strange, my car gets sideways when it shifts gears at normal throttle. is that whats called torque mr. civic?

 

Our cars suck in the rain, I'm scared if I ever have to slam on the brakes in dry weather let alone the rain.

i would never stomp the gas in the rain, i would be all over the place.

 

Never had a problem with mine I've only fishtailed once and controlled it easily. But I am very very prudent when it's wet outside. Snow and ice, now that makes me wish I was in a weak FWD car

 

ummm, i'm British, so I know about rain, the official answer is this,

every rain shower is scarier than emenem drunk with a shotgun
