Honda S2000

How's the performance on these cars?? They look like quick little things, and I saw one the other night with a vanity plate that said "1 A RACE".

Whoever was driving it must think he/she has the fastest car ever made.

Yeah, only thing worse than hearing one fartpipe from a Honda, is hearing two.

not as long as your car doesnt suck. you should beat it pretty easily if your car can hit 13's....you dont have to make any kind of crazy power to beat an s2000.

they run 14's

also, this post happened before and it got ugly, so lets not do it again

Ok if I ever see it again, since you told me to, that's what I'll do. lol. I won't be making fun of S2000's, but the slow ones trying to LOOK fast,,,yeah they're still amusing.

Sorry for bringing this up again but I was just curious. I'm kinda new to this board so I dunno what has been covered and what hasn't.

no problem....try doing a search on something using the search button before you make a new post....sometimes you can find alot more information (sometimes better too) than you can by running a new post

ya know, its kind of sad that people come to ask questions like this... I mean c'mon take it to the street already... just go and race, its not like you have anything to loose (unless your street racing) but have a little more faith in your car.... if your car can't top an s2000 then you've gotta whole lotta work ahead of you... if you wanna play ya gotta pay

This issue was already beaten to death a few weeks ago so I'm going to close this before it turns into another pointless flame war. The 1/4 mile times on them "stock" apparantly range from high 13s to high 15s according to the other thread and who you want to believe, the guy who owns the car and ran the time or the guys who read in a magazine somewhere in 1992 that they can't break 16s. If you're stock they MIGHT give you a problem depending on your setup and how bad the other guy beats on his car.
