Camaro vs Dodge Stealth question

There is a kid around my house with a older FWD/NA Dodge Stealth. He claims someone put a supercharger on it and a exhaust. I honestly dont believe him. I seen the car driving and it seemed slow as ****. Although he claims to stay with LS1's.

Should I even be worried about this guy?

That kid is probably full of sh@#. Stealth's come with 3 different hp ratings, and 2 types of motors: 3.0 v-6 SOHC- 164 hp, 3.0 v-6 DOHC-222 hp, and the 3.0 v-6 320 hp(twin turbo). The RT model doesn't mean it has a twin-turbo motor either, just an FYI. The cars are heavy as hell to weighing in at 3373 lbs, so in my opinion you will own him bad! The twin-turbo models aren't that fast in my opinion either, my uncle owned one, they are awd so they do launch good, but fall on there faces like mustangs do after 3rd gear.

FYI, the TT version has AWD and AWS, it weighs in at a hefty 3,800lbs curb. Add driver = 4,000lb lead sled with a 320hp TT v6. Should be low 14's, or high 13's driven normally for the TT.

The FWD versions are MUCH lighter. Roughly mid to high 15's.

Its a FWD V6 DOHC. Its also a stick shift cause he said his clutch was bad and its getting replaced by a race puck. (Which I promptly explained why that would be way too much for that car, even if he did have a blower.)

3300 lbs isn't heavy. My race weight is 3600 with myself and all my junk. I should be dropping 100-150lbs off the weight of the rear of the car.

Why don't you just ask him to pop the hood on his ride. Problem solved.

That requires thinking about it at that moment in time.

Well I raced my friend in his 1995 N/A Stealth and absolutely handed his a** to him in my GTA, so I don't think you have anything to worry about, but like they said before, you can't really tell who is bs'in and who isn't!
