3.1 vs. 350 Buick ha

well i had just got my baby outtve the shop from an unfortunate accident on xmas(not my fault) and i was out crusing around for the night. well this pos brown buick pulls up next to me(sounded ariight nothing great) and punches it i kinda chuckled and just kept on crusing. well we just happened to get lined up at the next light. so i figured what the hell if i lose it wouldnt be the first time so i just straight floor it. i got both the wheels spinning underneath the overpass and was sideways for about 100 ft. now the whole time im ahead of him with my wheels spinning well i pumped the pedal a bit to get them to stop and regain traction and im waiting for him to catch up. well he got about to my rear wheels and i just blew him away. at about 60 i let off cuz i thought i saw a cop but by that point i had already easily won. the road we were on isnt exactly the best place to race for very long.

so i pulled up next to him in a parking lot and rolled the ole window down and was trying not to laugh, i was like so whatcha got in that bad boy and he said a 350 with some minor work, well i started cracking up and was like so guess what this beast is......a single tear from laughter rolling down my face...its a 3.1L V6 hahahaha

he wants to go again but seeing as i just got my car back(and it has a bad vacum leak) i decided not to but ill be looking for him again just to embarass him again. i know it was a buick but still it was funny as hell :lala:

He had a what? You have a what? HUH?!? Hey, I got a LHO in a car of mine, ('89 GP) it runs good but it ain't V8-KLR material, unless that dude's 350 was screwed up from the word GO. I sure wouldn't want to race you, you'd probably chew my 350 to bits by at least four car lengths.... j/k, awesome kill, way to get something with almost twice your cid.

my 3.1L V6 Camaro RS is not that fast really but i ate him alive. he tried to tell me that he raced a few imports and destroyed them and that one was using nitrous to keep up haha yeah right and i have a supercharger on my v6(which of course they dont make them)

Ah, hahahahaha! That is too funny! Goodnight, if you got him by a few lengths, I should be able to totally own him! 350, and pigs can fly too.... Find him again and ask him to pop the hood, take a picture for us, too.

its not like your going to tell whether its a 305/350 from looking at it, especially looking at a picture, haha...

fear the v6 hogs... my friends V6 super coupe is a hog, but i guess it does have a supercharger bolted to her

Oh, super-charging (or turbo, too, and don't forget nitrous) makes things way different, don't get me wrong. (I'm sure there are more than a few I4's with boost that could whup on my 350...) I'm just amazed that's all. (Oooh, to find a SC for my wife's 3100 and make her car a real sizzling grocery-getter....)

I see, must have been a claped out mid '80s regal. It more than likely had a chevy motor in it unless someone swaped a buick into it. The last 350 buicks where installed in 1981, not that the mid '70s to early '80s 350 sbb's were anything to write home about.
