This fool at my school thinks his Monte Carlo Stock V-6 auto will beat my 87 Tras Am 305 Manaul

He wont stfu lol

He thinks he knows so much, yesterday he asked me if I had the "307" ROFL 307 stupid fool.

Anyways I cant afford Insurance yet so we cant race, I saw this thread thought Id ask to make sure

No offense, but i think it would be a close race. Especially if that 305 of yours is TBI. And in all honesty it sounds like you are around 16, i know when i was 16 i couldn't shift well enough to outrun an equally powered automatic car.

On the contrary a young guy in our club is 16 and has a 86 Z28 and he is doing quite well. He shifts excellent for a guy that barely got his DL. He did better in his car than a 30 year old in the club in the same car 3 times!!!

If you have the LG4 you will cut it close. The TPI T/A's and the Z's will take it out.

Well, if it's a Z34 with the 3.4 L, you'll need to be quicker than 15.5 @ 89. That's what my '95 ran stock with 130,000 miles. If it's a 3.1L you sholdn't have a problem, high 16's-low 17's.

Monte Carlo

If your car has a TPI305 then you should have nothing to worry about

word, no need to worry about the Driving abbilites

I got the TPI and he has the 3.1, So Ill be straight, Thanx no when he talks, I can continue to shut him up lol
