Vette vs. Lb9
There was this really nice metallic Teal C4 that sounded kinda lopey (LT-4?) in town yesterday and I was behind him...the guy saw my car then open his vette out (think it was more like half throttle if even that) and I followed...it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out that he pulled me HARD
Even if he beat me by atleast a block it was kinda fun to run into somebody willing to mess around in their vette around here. Hey atleast it was a Chevy right?
Oh yeah the cops where cheering us on and so was a crowd of people having a BBQ

Come on now be nice it was my very mild 305 5 speed Z28 vs a modded Lt1 like he wouldnt beat me by a few bus lengths anyway.....i know it was modded cuz of the idle it was a dead give away
I got to start college in a few weeks so an engine swap is out of the question even if i am making 500 a week at my job

No need for engine swap, if he is having fun, then cool. Just because he got beat in one race doesnt mean he has to swap. No need to have the fastest car.
Nice run!

yeah problem is he was in front of me and he floored speeding up much faster then any 305 could ever go so no way i could have tapped him....
and about modding my car, i dont want to throw any money at my Camaro i am happy with it as is, its not the fastest thing in the world but its fun
All i got in it is: free mods, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, gutted air box with K&N, BBK TB, MSD distributor, coil, and wires, Hotchkis front and rear sway bars, strut tower brace, lowering springs, center force clutch, dyno max cat back
yup i was totally out matched until i get my own vette

I know somebody beat a Z06 with a car like mine but it was a 350 A4 with nitrous...i looked at his cardomain site and he has similar mods to me but i dont know how big difference the nitrous will do in my 305...guess the only way to know for sure is for me to go order a kit..i will get back to you on those results

Don't you want to win? If the BBQ people and the Police are down with the race, I'd build a faster car, setup another race and "Git R Done"! Thread
