There was no 1988 LT1. There was an LT-1 back in the 60's though.

I doubt he swapped in an LT1. If he did he should have beat you based on the way you described the running condition of your car. Many people call TPI cars LT1's. Chances are you raced a tired LB9 car.

BTW my car isnt really in that bad of condition it does kinda clunk tho lol got some loose bearings... but the beast can still do 0-100km/h in 5sec leaving a bit of blue back on the line though. Still hits 6k RPM daily and no rod through the case yet

Edit: in other news i just saw a SRT waste a done up 5.0 mustang it was prettty funny to see the look on the guys face driving the mustang as the SRT blew his doors off

0-62MPH in 5 seconds in a stock 350 that burns oil upon acceleration? I don't think so. These cars didn't do 0-60 that fast stock, let alone with compression as bad as yours probably is if it burns oil on acceleration. Smoking at startup is one thing, but when you hit the gas and it smokes, that's oil getting past your piston rings.

Neon SRT-4 I'm guessing you mean? There's a Viper SRT-10 and Ram SRT-10 that have 8.3L V-10s with 500HP and 525LB-FT torque

Their is nothing stock about my car... lol

350ci w/ cam, intake, carb, open element k&n,ported heads, headers, straight duals no cats or mufflers, th-350 w/shift kit, 4.11 rearend. Its also had a little bit of a diet.

im not really sure where the smoke is coming from, it will only smoke @ 5k+ RPM i have noticed that my valve covers seem to be sweating oil from the gasket and around the breather is coated with oil. i think it might be more of that burning off that blowby on the rings.

yea sorry i meant the neon SRT-4 seems to be a peppy lil machine lol
