Cammed lq4 t/a vs built integra b18

Was out having a some fun with my friends last night after the weekly car meet.My buddy was in his 97 teg with a built motor..nothing crazy making 207whp with short gearing gsr spd for circuit racing. We always play around and I beat him but never get to record it.This time he had a passenger and by chance caught a clip of me short shifting and freight training away.I have to take it very easy on the rearend because its ready to pop so my launch is very light.

You guys ever notice how different your car sounds when your not inside it and hearing it drive off on video lol.

When I first read the topic title, I thought it said LG4 in lowercase letters.

Then I watched the video and my face did this
O_O...WTF
WHAT DID HE DO TO THAT WEAK *** ENGINE!?!?

Then I saw it actually said LQ4. " Oh no wonder! "

I thought it said LG4 at first too and was coming up with a response in my head before reading the post.

It was going to say something like A) Why would you waste time camming a LG4 and B) Have fun staring at Integra taillights.

Then I saw LQ4 and I smiled.

My old lg4 had no problems beating integras/civics when I first bought this car.Mind you it was cammed with headers and had intake and carb.Previous owner wanted to keep it original and still make some power.

I got no problems running for some fun.Why else do we build our cars.Though I prefer dig runs..roll racing is boring to me no offense.

And thanks for the compliment, though dark vids hide the imperfections of my ride lol..needs body/paint work and its not running 100% but its ok for now.
