iroc vs 01 mustang gt vs olds aurora

ok i've got an 86 iroc my specs r below while the mustang gt is completely stock and is an auto and the aurora is stock too. we will be racing from a stop. how close of a race do u think this will be. my camaro pulls hard above 3000rpms but its hard to get traction off the start so i was planning to accelerate about 1/2 throttle then as it settle i'll nail it. we will be racing about 3/4mi. so it's not a short distance.

sounds to me like if you get traction you're gonna make this embarassing. They won't stand a chance.

You should beat all except the LS1.

The LS1 will beat you, the Mustang could be a race, but you should win, and the Aurora is guarenteed.

THANKS FOR THE INFO I'LL KEEP U POSTED. I WASN'T PLANNING ON BEATING THE LS1 JUST WONDERING THOUGH IT SUPPOSELY RUNS 12.9. THE OLDS DOESN'T HAVE AN LS1 IT HAS A MOTOR SIMILIAR TO THE CADDY NORTHSTAR EXPECT IT'S A 4.0 DOHC BUT IT'S RATED AT 250HP.

I went with my dad a while ago to test out an Aurora with the 4.0, right after testing a 2001 Formula. It was pretty quick for a family car, but it was slower than any V8 I had been in besides the trucks. They really aren't race cars, but quick family cars.

a stock LS1 can go 12's GMHTP got a 02' SS to go 12.9 and the editor from a mustang mag got his 98 Z to 12.8 bone stock. You just gotta drive them like you hate em. That's when their real power comes out.
