I thought I read somewhere that a stock ecotech bottom end could handle 600HP+. That's

I have one up on the ecotech and the 2.4, G.M designed the 2200 2.2 so that all the bottom end parts from a 350 sb would fit so all the pushrods pistons etc will fit excert for cranks and cams.

 

What advantage does that give you? Better crank rods and pistons do nothing unless the crank can withstand.

Hey has anyone else noticed that a Sunfire looks a lot like a mini 4th gen 'bird, especially from the back? Just something that's been bothering me... lol

 

ya and the old GTO metro looked like a Z to me too

 

It's the GEO Storm that looks like a mini camaro. My buddy has one, it makes me laugh every time I look at it.

Lol, I'll agree to that.

I traded cars with the storm guy for a week-end because I had to make a long trip. Boy was I glad to have my thirdgen back.
