Attention Paul and John!!

Can you make this post a sticky for me.

BBQ Party!!!!!!

I thought it would be a cool idea if all those who are coming to the next(last)drag event, could each bring something to eat and drink.

I have a nice portable grill which is perfect for cooking. What do you guys think? Each guy is responsible for an item i.e. brand of drink, hot dogs, sausages, burgers, buns plates you get the idea.

Or I'll do the shopping and everyone pitches in?

Yes/No...let me know.

If there's no barbquing allowed then scrap the whole idea. I just thought it might be fun for us to end the season in style.

Hey, I'm all good for that... I got myself a costco membership so I can pretty much get a good amount of junk in bulk...

Sounds good to me I spent a fortune at that snack bar!

We will just have to find out if the track management allows it first... BTW you can bring your own beer to the track, but it must be in cans.

That sounds like a plan, I also have a brand new portable bbq that hasn't even been out of the box. My wife bought it for me for Father's Day just for this kinda thing. I think a "bring what you want to eat" bbq would be a good idea. That way you don't have to worry about what people like or don't like. We supply the bbq's and everyone can bring a bag of chips or some kind of snack to share with the rest. Just an idea....

BBQ's should be ok in the park... considering they allow camping there.

Hey guys

Great idea, but I'll get ahold of Linda or Dave in the next week or two.
Probably a good idea to ask if it's ok.

Great!!

Kev - Sounds good. This way everybody eats happy.

I think if we should get a list of food items going so that everyone dosn't bring a box of burgers. If you want to eat something you know no one else will eat than bring it.

But I still say one person or two should shop for the food items(slade or myself since we have COSTCO memberships)and drinks. As for beer.....I think it's fair to say that we should all bring our own 6 pack(or more) of our favorite particular beer. I have coolers to support us and we can buy ice at the track

This is looking good. So everyone input your food suggesttions. We have over 5 weeks to plan this so lets make sure it goes perfect.
