Please post if you plan on being there. I'm gonna do my best to be there but I don't wanna drive 7 hours for nothing.
Thanks,
Paul

No offense to Kevin, Richard and Daz, but if it's raining then nobody is going cause the track will be closed! Duh! Sorry had to say something cause it's kind of a silly obvious statement.

HMMM? What do you think Paul? 7 hours drive to smoke a bunch of clowns!!!
Seriously, we'd be a little pissed if we were like 5 hours into the drive, almost there, and it starts pouring. How about we all meet in an industrial are in peterborough or something and have it out there????

Are you ever going to get a Holley 670cfm TBI ? If not what about boring your stock TBI bores out to 1 7/8s or 2 inches ??? Seen this done before we can talk PM or next Saturday at Tim Hortons.
What headers and cat-back are you going to get ?
RP.
What's going on Saturday? If you're not busy and since you have a good idea of how heads sound like I'm wondering if you could listen to mine...
Yeah.. I'm looking into headers that a)will let me reach my plugs easier b) won't cost an arm and a leg c)uncoated so I'll get them ceramic coated, or are ceramic coated but had better not come off else I want FULL refund d) have air support on them, since don't feel like junking a perfectly operational air system not to mention won't pass visual...
So far hooker header's seem like a good deal... still researching... exhaust before intake. I plan on maxing out the intake (not too hard of a task) before I get rid of it...
On the other hand I may have to scrap that idea.. I can hear a tick coming from my car too, but the thing is I heard it before when I got the underpulley and a good belt for once (engine ran quieter due to lower accessory rpm so I could hear the lifters) but after reading your post now I'm feeling paranoid... Granted its equal from both sides, maybe I am paranoid, but then again maybe both sides are scrapping...either way I'm not looking forward to taking off heads (passenger side a/c issues and memories...)

I remember posting about how the plugs are very hard to re & re, with hookers. Since then, I've come up with a socket to do the job, all from the top. If you do get them, I'll show you. It makes it much easier.
I think i will get a truck to haul my 4:10 geared non-overdriven POS azz out there.....
Wouldnt mind showing you why i drive a second gen
When my car starts, people think the world is coming to an end. And then, all of your cars will shut off :P
LOL J/K would be nice to own a few of you though, esc[ecially the large laipped ones

Well, we took her out for a spin around the block with the CAT half unhooked and she runs alot stronger now. Lots of bottom end, but I don't know if it 's my 1 1/2 headers or my plugged/restrictive CAT that is causing all the back pressure. I think I should have this fixed by the weekend.
And as for running, yeah, I may make a FEW runs if we go down. Don't want to break anything though(ie. T5 tranny). Imagine what a CAA tow worth 7 hours driving would cost. OUCH
