Im in daz.
If you want big numbers though and complete organisation you need someone to make a website with info, faq, and links (nearby hotels, activities, campsites etc.). This way you can have people from different mail lists and message boards involved without a bunch of different posts with different info. I will help with the links and info if someone wants to do the html code (Im a bit rusty). Also I would leave the strip club info out cause lots of guys would come with a wife or gf, and not many of them would be BI. Anyway if someone wants to do the html...?

I think nethirdgen is down, giving me some weird error about member profile not found. Anyway this is happening next year, right? I'll be there, I'm right across the border, I'll push my car down if I have to!

If any of you other guys from canada want to go to the MD meet in a group, I'd be happy to meet up with you in Ont. as I'm passing through. A thirdgen convoy..

Nathan you wouldnt mind doing that? I can try and get some stuff together for a start. Then maybe as opinions flow and people gain interest we can just build on it? Id really like to get a canadian gathering like this going (maybe even surpass the numbers marks little tea party will bring in
)! Thanks
greg
)! Thanksgreg
I was thinking we could just say summer and somewhere along the line we could get some input and set a date?
Niagara falls will be an amazing place though! With all the casinos and tourist joints people can make it a few day thing if they want and have a vacation while they are at it. If I get a bunch of links to hotels, price ranges, casinos, things to do etc. Could you html them and host? I like the idea about the beach and track. I dont know niagara but if theres an area with a cluster of restaurants (preferably including a hooters, fbody enthuses seem to like them
) that would be gold too.

Think you'd want to make it around a Sunday.
Sunday night is cruise night in Niagara falls.
On Lunday's lane. Most of the good hotels have internet sites.
The Best Western Cairn Croft is reasonable and right on Lundy's lane. Do a search on the net, it's there.
The cruise cars park right next door on the No Frills parking lot.
Ha Ha Ha!!! and only a short ride to the "Peeler Bars"!!!!
Imagine that!!!

Ya if we start now we should be able to get the word out to enough people by next summer. And instead of telling people to check thirdgen message board (sign up, find the ontario board, look through posts etc.) they can just check out a website. And we wouldnt have to make long *** info posts and answer Qs on every board/mail list interested. Who knows if we get alot of people we could even rent the track.
Paul do you really NEED an excuse to buy a 3rd gen?

Yeah, that sounds cool. I'll be in for that. Who knows, maybe my wife will come. One word...Ch-ching
Here is the link to Niagara Falls accomodations. Be prepared, they are hugely expensive. For a basic room anywhere close to the Casino , you are looking at about $229 for the weekend, and that is the cheaper ones. The farther away from the Casino, the cheaper they get.

Camping...now that's a good Idea! Hey Daz? Your talking next year, right? This sound like it'll be great! Not sure...which to bring. My Iroc powered Monte SS or my Z28. Hmm... Will you all allow me to bring my Monte, or is that a hex or something. It is a Thridgen at heart! So no dates in mind Daz, or anyone.
Thats true. Camping makes some good bonds. I think I would need to scout out one with a shower if we are meeting in town though lol. I will start a poll for the date thing. Probly better if we set it soon so people can try and keep it free. Later

Thanks for reviving that one, Dr. Frankenstein.
There's going to be a meet in late May, Z-drr-guy (Mark) is planning that puppy (I have to mention it, because last time I didn't, I got yelled at! Haha! B!tch!), looks like it's going to be a big one.
I'm planning on planning (hehe) a paintball outing. It'll probably be in March, keep your eyes open for a thread in the near future.
I suppose you can come, if you ask nice.

If Mark would have had the 03 Nationals more centrally located there wouldn't be so called copy cat meets planned.

It seems like even when posting, the n00b's get ignored. I can't imagine how clique-y their meets are.

There are people coming from as far West as CA and as far East as England.
Then as far N as Canada, and as far South as southern FL,
hmmmm Maryland is starting to look more and more centrally located, LOL>

That is completely un-true.
Right now there are two BRAND-NEW newbies that everyone knows and get along with, GruveB and 79camaro305. The trick is sheer volume of posts, you gotta keep your name out there, or say something everyone will remember..
Every post gets like 15 replies, even the n00b posts.
