crap i need to weld on those SFCs ASAP
Was just noticing that my body has bent quite a bit since early summer. I mean, the right t-top is looking more and more like an arch everyday I look at it. It looks like it's about to pop-up. Well, not really, but it's not exactly straight.
Wish I had a hard-top. But hell I know my body is flexing. My SFCs will help right?

bent pins
Lexan roofs don't bend they get stress cracks if you would like to see what I mean checkout my t-roofs next time we get together. Lots and lots of stress cracks only visible from the inside.
The t-roof lock down pins, on the other hand, get loose when their guide slot starts to elongate from pressure on the body (twisting). Mine are looser since I started making more torque. It makes the roof ride 1-2mm higher. So I dissassembled them and put ducting tape around the plastic guides for the pins so there is no more slop. I'll have to get new roofs one day the guide slots are not a replaceable item. Be cheaper to get glass roofs which, by-the-way, also suffer from the same problem.
SFCs would make most of this problem go away.

great pics
Good pics Alex.
I've had this problem before. If you dissassemble the receptacles for the t-roof locking pins (3 phillips screws) on the passenger side front pillar you will see a couple of 10mm bolts that hold the pin centering mechanism to the body. The centering mechanism is ovoid in shape and if you loosen the bolts you can move a 'cam' behind the pin brace this will have the effect of adjusting the roof up or down. In fact it moves the locking pin up and down so with it the t-roof. You should be able to get atleast a few mm's adjustment out of it. I did it last spring because my roof was sitting high and making alot of unneccessary wind noise.
Easy work EasySpeed get yer wrenchs out.

Are you crazy Palric...?? that's too much info for the poor lad!
Nah, I have faith you can do it... just remember to wear a grounding strap before you work on your car hehe...
Alex, get them welded ASAP, it'll only get worse with the way you drive...
