chip burning equip/pocket programmer

i remember reading on here a while back somebody picked up prom burning gear... anywhere to get it local to toronto/london? looked/called around london today with no luck...

I got mine from the States... Didn't even bother about looking here in canada the price is usually about 20% higher here...

i agree on the price thing,
looking for a zz4 for my 86 ta i seen a site in florida saying 3700 tax included us dollars, here in sudbury ontario they want 7800 canadian,

stiffler how much will you charge me to do a chip , if your in ontario , if i keep my 305 tpi i'll change the cam and heads

YA... Everyone has to remember that chip burning is easy. Its the tuning that takes a long time... Acceld's chip was easy.. it was basic: Injector Constants, fans and the ARAP bin... for a high-performance chip it takes quite some time to do it well.. you have to gather info than burn, than gather more and burn.. I would say 50 times before you start getting things right...

i was reading that the stock 86 305 tpi chip were terrible anything would be better

just like there cams lol

You mean my chip wasn't "high-performance"??? You dirty bastard, I wan't my money back. That's why it's so slow

my total cost for the equipment required to burn chips was a total of $343.00. but that did not include the cost for a laptop as i already have one......as stated earlier in this post, burning is the easy stuff........ tuning is the hard part and will take some effort on a mid to highly modded car but well worth its weight in gold.

suggestion: if you already have one of those hypercrap chips laying around you can use it and not require a Moates adapter (saveing yourself about $90.00 ) as the hypercrap chip is already a unsoldered chip, just need the zif adapter and away you go.
