I'm running but I'm not confident in the reliability just yet. In the next two weeks, hopefully all will be taken care of...in which case I'll roll with ya.

 

I'll go!! My trans is crap though, I down shift and get nothing, but if all goes well it will be coming out in the next few weeks. I just dont want to pull it until a can get a vig converter, anyone want to by a TCI 2500 11" with 8000k on it??

I'm waiting for some feedback from Shannonville. It says on the web site that the drags are over at 5pm. Must be a mistake??

 

Yeah, I called them about a month ago, it's just like last year (they told me), run whatever till 11pm. The cruise nights are 1 a month, always Friday nights begining around 5-6pm. July's date is the 8th I think.
Ken's planning to go as far as I know, I'm not sure about Chris though.
Acceld, how's progress on the car coming? Will it be cutting it close - timewise?
Anybody else from East of Shannonville going? Better yet, anyone from West of Shannonville going?

Ya, I have way too much into this thing to sell it. Now I have new plans for it. I change my mind more than the weather network changes the forcast.

 

I doubt my car will be ready. If it is, it probably won't be running well enough to make a pass.

Any chance you can make it the following weekend? I have a cruise to Hudson on July 16th. We have about 10 cars from Ottawa going and another 10 from Montreal.

 

Do you mean you have a cruise on June 16??? The drag-night is June 17. All Shannonville's Drag-nights are on dates that the track has set. Unfortunatelly (or fortunatelly for some I guess) they are always Friday nights. As far as I can remember, June 17, July 8, Aug 12. I can't remember Sept's date, but it's on the website.

 

I got the dates mixed up. The cruise is on July 16th. Sorry.

FYI the Hazeldean cruise had a record 230 some cars last night...and only about 10 ricers, but they all had the girls to back the slow cars up!

6speed - I do not know about making the one's for this month because we just had an event at Shannonville on Friday. I will definitely get the club involved with at least one of the dates.

Ok guys, its this Friday. I'm leaving the west end at around 2:30 in the afternoon to head down for 5ish. I hope I pass my last e-test tomorrow! We can meet up with people in Smiths Falls if that works, lets say 3:15 at the Tim Hortons on Hwy 15 by the Canadian Tire.

Buddy, just re-read this thing....I put in a 9 bolt and LCA brackets with some Comp Eng'g drag shocks I've had for years but never installed. I plan on fabbing an adjustable torque arm but haven't yet. Seems to dig a little better.

Hyton, can't make the July cruise...have a good friends bachelor/excessive booze/camping weekend. I was really hoping to make that one. When else can we meet up?

As for Friday, I'll make it if I can. I will confirm closer to the date. I am really not good at making long term plans. I'm more of a spur of the moment guy...
Although, I have freed up all of my Tuesdays now for Hazeldean.
