CODES and lots of them..
Ok guys I need some help on finding out these codes.
23 Mat Sensor Low voltage (Probally the relocation to the front air duct)
33 MAP Sensor High voltage
51 Faulty or improperly installed ECM PROM
I have switched ecm's (I have a spare) and memcals still comes on
41 Cylinder selection error (checked the firing order and it looks good)
I want to solve code 51 because it might help with others..
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Yes this prom and memcal use to work on my old 305 combo but now that I have changed to a 350 I have all kinds of problems.

It has been reflashed with 350 code?
Even if it had the 305 code, it should still run, just not very good. Would be lean for sure.
Something must either be wrong with the flash or the IC. See if you can spot any bent legs/pins ect. Pull it out again and reseat it.

Did some reading on the Grand National board about code 51 and it has something to do just starting your vehicle or applying power... I erased the codes and BINGO most of them are gone...
but I have 1 now code 43 ESC (Electronic spack Control) so something with my knock sensor which I am pretty sure is the wiring.. the wire was frayed pretty bad..
Hopefully the end is near...
Here's the sight about trouble codes... very good sight..

It will generate a code 43 when the car is just started and the voltage is low. Its a test to see if it is fuctioning right.
I'd say your guess is right. My fan sw which is right there in that area and the wire was fairly cooked and brittle. It litterally fell apart in my hands.

Well... this is crazy... If I erase the codes I get code 43.. rev the car up a little and all the original 4 codes come back.. what gives?
Mind you I haven't driven the car down the road yet... this is all in my garage.
