I would like to get the 3rd Gen version of this deflector. I'm still not 100% decided yet though...What are your opinions of this?

Car: 90 IROC 5.7 hardtop
Engine: L98
Transmission: T5 swap
Axle/Gears: Yup -- they still work
I like the stock look

If I drove an IMPORT I would want to start adding fiberglass pieces to my car.

If I drove an IROC I would NOT want to start adding fiberglass pieces to my car.

my .02 cents worth,
RP.

Ok, that's the kinda strong opinions I wanna hear. Be open guys...

johny:

palric: I agree...but the deflector is made of clear tinted plastic...it's made by GTS, same company that makes the blackouts. No fiberglass.

I like the clean lines of the IROC

I'll stick by my stocker (grin).

Plastic or fiberglass, IMHO, you don't have to glue, staple, bolt, weld or tape anything onto an IROC to make it look better.

have a nice day,
RP.

No, I won't change anything about your car either....I like my car the way it is, I just need a change. Who knows...in three years I might change it back to stock!

For what it's worth, that thing looks to me like it's got no real reason for being there.

Yeah.. I don't see any technical advantage it would give you, but i think it looks alright, not my cup of tea, but I wouldn't laugh at someone who had one... oh... maybe I won't laugh because the founder of the local f-body club has one on his 1992 GTA....

But honestly.... it looks ok to me.... have you found one for the 3rd gen yet?

no, No, NO!

Much like louvers that makes the car look gay! The car needs nothing added to the outside, the body style is great. Don't break up great lines with a cheap piece of plastic trash.

Thanks guys for your opinions. Well, it's almost a landslide vote against. I was on the fence about it but I decided I will stay away from it.
