this ever happen to you!

well had my iroc out today for a little spring drive, with my 3 year old daughter. we cruised all the main strips and then some, then on the way home we drove past a huge parking lot without a single car in it. well, then next thing ya know i'm pulling doughnuts in it with my daughter yelling, " more daddy more" when i noticed a cop parked at the other end of the lot blocking me in. so i drive up to him and shut off the car, he get's out, walks over with his ticket book in hand saying "this one is going to be exspesive". then he see's the kid, still laughing and asking for more!. now the cop says " i'm glad i'll be retired when she get her drivers license" then he tells me to find a better place to play and leaves. pretty cool eh! just goes to show not all cops are out to bust ya! but if i was alone i think it would have ended diferently.

I lucked out the other day... ready for a long story?

My buddy denis (in his 93 Civic Si) and I (my 1988 Grand AM) were cruising on that nice tuesday, we were heading down Niagara Parkway in Niagara Falls... when this Miata POS was tailing denis bad (denis was behind me)... I ended up getting behin a slow poke in a crown vic, so the miata passes us all on a single solid line on a steep curve...> So after the Crown Vic turned off.... I felt it was time to show that Miata who's boss.. so I sped up (going about 120km/h in a 50) and caught up to him and tailed for a while before i decided that was enough, not wanting a mass ticket... So I pull into a small parking lot to turn around, with my buddy not too far behind... as I am turning around.. guess what I see? A cop.... A part of me was thinking, hmmm.. maybe he didn't see that.. YEAH RIGHT!! Not with the muffler I have.. LOL... so My buddy and I shut our cars off, the first cop took care of me, then a second cop took care of my buddy. The cop gave me the lecture... he knew there was another car involved, which got away... so after a huge lecture, he ended up only giving me a ticked for going 55 in a 50 zone (when I was actually doing 120).... talk about a load of my back... then the cop that was handling my buddy was going to give him a harsher ticked... so my cop talked to the other cop, and my buddy ended up getting the same ticket...

Talk about you breaks!!! I could've gotten a racing fine and a dangerous driving fine.. which means license gone and car towed away... I need summer back so I can get my racing thrills taken care of on the track

no you just had the luck i dream about.

If you were parked in a handycap space you could have been towed. Places like malls and other retail outlets have agrements with police to enfore the law. If that was the case we could do whatever we wanted at home or where ever.

it would be nice. i think you just got lucky

well i know i got very lucky,(thank you Lord) and i thought you could do almost anything on your own private property as long asw it's not too loud or harmful to the enviorment. Around here people have what is called a "red neck-hillbilly syndrome" which means, beware police, don't tell me what to do on my property or my drunk brothers and sisters, dads + moms will kick the crap out of you, then they will run you down in there 4x4 monster truck. Man, i gota move! this town is getting to me. btw my little girl didn't even notice the cop, she just wanted more and more!

No, private property doesn't matter. I was behind this place called Renna's here in Toronto doing some donuts in my buds 77 Firebird. When the smoke cleared, there was that shiny cop car just waiting for me. First instinct? BOLT, but I came to my senses right away and stopped the car...then we got out right away to and opened the hood (pretend like something is wrong)..lol...needless to say I got an unecessary noise ticked : $105.00 no points. I didn't even fight it 'cause it was damn worth it..lol. Oh, that was like 5 years ago..my very first ticket. Now, the only smokeshow tickets I get are on the R1.
