IROC Problems??? Stumped

well since i got my iroc, things have been going good. well now i was driving along and i tryed speeding up, and i got nothing, and it kept getting worse and worse, it jerks, it doesnt want to shift, right and my gas milage was horrid. now she tops out at 35mph, theres a loud noise coming from way back on the drivers side, maybee neer the transmission. fuel pressure is up around 45psi, any ideas where i can start?

ive recently changed the plugs, wires, cap rotor, fuel filter so those are all good

Well I searched and found a few similar posts, sorry you haven't had any luck.

How does the car rev in park or neutral? What happened before the car's performance went sour? How do the electrodes on the plugs look now?

Do you get trouble codes? Or have you checked the TPS voltage?

Sounds like a plugged exhaust system.

well i looked under and my o2 sensor was hanging there and the loud noise was coming from the 02 sensor hole, would that cause my car not to run?

yeah thats not good if the 02 is not in the hole it will give the ecu all kinds of wrong readings being that it doesn't warm up fro m the exaust even a small pin hole or so will make the car run like crap because of the outside air geting to close to the o2 ....fix the hole replace the o2
