TPI intakes
TPI intakes
What are other intakes i can use w/ a tpi setup, such as a stealth ram. What are others where i wont have to change wiring harnesses and such. Pics would be greatly appreciated also. I have an oil leak and am going to just change intakes while i have it off. Thanks

If your worried about price, there is only two ways to improve
1) Lt1
2) Stealth Ram
Personally I chose the Lt1 to go along with my 4th gen theme.

I'm not positive here...but I thought the LT1 intake used reverse flow for the coolant. Therefore it wont work on a T.P.I engine. Like I said I'm not sure of this, just going by what I have heard lately.

the reverse cooling has to do with the heads not the intake...john millican over at www.lt1intake.com offers a modified lt1 intake to work on any sbc...for 400 bucks he supplies the modified intake the fuel lines and has a few options as well....i beleive the stealth ram is around 300-350

The LT1 and SR are closely matched price wise and I came out with the LT1 idea before the SR. You thing they copied my prices?

Check out John's site for full details on the modifications necessary. If you can get the intake yourself, he'll make the mods needed for $200. I just received one of his intakes (haven't done the swap yet), and the quality of his work is top notch.
