Well if it is from Arizina Speed it is probally the best make.. as for 58mm of air you probally won't need it.. spend your money somewhere else.. there is a guy on the board running 12's with a stock TB

58mm too big? I'm going to port out the plemun to match up with the bigger TB and add a adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

58mm will still be too big. A stock one is fine up to some pretty big numbers. Hit 11s, then think about a 58mm TB. Save your money.

From my understanding, 58 is more than you need, but it wouldn't hurt I don't think. Heck, if it's free though......

Do you have any other mods to the motor. remember than too much air means s l o w air at low RPM's.....which is where the engine on a street car spends most of it's time.

Opps not there.....

Mods are Hypertech chip MSD stuffs, K&N filters, Flowmaster stock replacement mufflers with the dual cats removed and a BBK 52mm TB. Also got a 3" Y pipe yet got to be installed. Best ET's are 14.8@102MPH with a 2.4 60ft.

I'm use to drag racing my GN. I was thinking I was in the GN building boost to launch. 2.4 60ft was one cheap Goodyear tires, but I did a cool smokey burnout.

Ya save your money and buy desktop dyno... in the dyno on a 390 hp tpi motor I was messing with increasing flow from 780 (stock tb) to a 1100 (~58mm tb) is under 5 hp difference. And the difference between a zz4 cam and a comp cam xtrem 270H is like 25+ hp... so buy desktop dyno check out some cam numbers and get a good cam to get as much of an hp increase as full exhaust. That is my 2 cents

You did not do 102 mph. Unless this was on a gtech.
