It idles around 725 with almost no lump in my 89 IROC. I have no idea what the mpg is since I installed 3.73s at the same time and haven't checked it since.

I have my idle speed set to 650 rpm in gear, and it lumps quite a bit. It's obvious that it's not stock. As far as powerband goes check the dyno listed in my sig. I usually get 16-18 mpg around town and 22 on the highway.

My idle is about 700 rpm and it sounds far from stock. I get alot of thumbs up at stoplights....

Hey RU-QWIK, is yours in a 305 or 350? What kind of tuning did you have to get? I'm having problems all over with mine, just trying to figure out what i didn't do, should have done, and should do.

Mine currently is a 355... I had a board member , Kevin91Z burn a chip for it a long while back, but it needs to be updated badly. I plan to add an Accel DFI in the near future , so the tuning will be much easier.

Mine idles around 725 rpms, gets 16-17 MPG in the city and 22-25 MPG on the highway, and required extensive work to the computer chip to get it that far. Power numbers, mods, and timeslips is in my signature.

Here's a video of my L98 with the LT4 HOT cam. Idle is about 600.
I've got dual flowmaster deltaflow 50 series.

so far, my idle when warm is about 650 rpm, all with out tuning, low vacuum, and running rich and timing very advanced. I think i have some valves not seating totally, so i'm getting pretty low compression. still have some bugs to work out, but should be ready to go soon. I'll tell you one thing, it certainly doesn't sound like a 305.

Lumpy idle at 700rpm. 13mpg city/25mpg highway running MAF, hoping for a few more city with the SD swap. Can't comment on the powerband cuz of the stock tpi.
