L98 is correct if it's the 350. The eighth digit of the VIN will be 8.
LB9 for the 305 and the VIN will be F

sorry guys, I checked her car out today and it turns out to be a LO3/RS with Z28 badges. She is so happy that she has a camaro that I couldn't look at here and tell here that it's not a Z28. Because to here I don't think that it matters. But it pisses me off that someone would swap out the badges like that and mislead people in beliveing that it's something that it's not. Oh-well.

How much did she pay? If she paid a Z28 price, find the guy and either get some money back, or kick the crap out of him.

Although I am not 100% sure on this, what that guy did might be Fraud.

I didn't think of it that way, May be I should let her know. But I don't think it will matter to her. She paid $2500 for a 1992 Z28 but to tell you the truth im not even sure what year it is now. Ill have to do a vin search on it.
