Chevy High Performance ***Stealth Ram install***
in the new Chevy High performance mag, the in stalled a HSR on a 350 camero that was running 14.45s and it dropped to 14.1 and with a junk Hypercrap it pulled a 14.flat....anyone else see this if so it looks like we have published prof of its power adding abillity.... just what till, us ECM hacks can get a hold of its power... what do you guy's think about this artical,
i myself didn't get to read the whole thing, one of my friends had a copy, but i didn't see anything worth buying in it.....

I found the parts list they gave useful at least for my future swap. Do you really have to cap off your heater control valve? They did that in the article and it's enough to make me think twice about getting one.
Letcha know boyz. I'll nail it on the dyno as good as the stock chip can do with fuel pressure and timing. All I care about is the power from 3600 to 5200 rpm since the converter plays in that range. I don't care if the Stealth gains 1 peak hp over the TPI. All I care about is that it holds the peak reasonably until 5200 rpm.

But... if you really wanted to keep it, I don't see why the stealth ram will prevent that from happening.

I just finsihed my HSR install and I didnt have to bypass ANYTHING. If Im thinking of the right things here, the heater control valve is the black plastic thingy that has 3 heater hoses and a vacumm line going into right? Well if it is, I relocated mine yeasterday. I ran a new longer line off the intake and put the valve down on the frame rail just beside the #2 header pipe. I also put a longer line off the heater core. Now I can see the passenger valve cover.
