Stupid Car

Just finished putting headers on my car. Everytime I come to a stop, it starts to bog, rpms get as low as 350-400. at first i thought it was just the car block learning or whatever, but it never really got that low before. but now its throwing a code 32. i didnt even touch the egr crap during the header install, so what could it be? i was thinking o2 sensor before, but it wasnt the code. i already tried a search and didnt come up with much, so dont tell me to search.

code 32 is EGR. make sure all the lines to the valve, solenoid and TB are hooked up. one of 'em could be out, causing vacuum leak and setting off the code.

doubt it. if it was bad i would think it'd make the car stall more often.

i had the same problem but i didnt start to get a code 32 until several weeks after i put in headers. turned out to be a bad solenoid.

went to go to work yesterday, got to the end of my driveway, and it died. took the plenum off, checked everything, the valve was in good working order, and the vacuum line from the booster to the plenum might of been loose enough to cause a leak. it seems to run fine now, but its still throwing code 32

Did you reprogram you chip? Bet you might be running lean at idle with the headers.

get an afpr or make one yourself like at http://www.gmtips.com/3rd-degree/dox/tips/afpr/afpr.htm and hook up a voltmeter to your oxygen sensor. With the voltmeter you can do WOT tuning. Check out the tech article in the sight for more info.
