resistance on 7 of the injectors were 1.5 ohms and on cylinder 8's injector.....it was 4.5ohms...so the controller is pushing alot harder to get a signal to the 8th injector.....now i need to make sure each has 12 volts....gee....thanks for the help everyone...? does anyone know where the injectors all become one in the harness?

What you are actually measuring with your ohm meter is the inductive reactance of the solenoid inside the injectors. You should measure 12 volts on both sides of the injectors with key on. The ECM pulls one side to ground to induce current flow through the solenoid. Try unplugging #8 and try cranking. Should crank, but run sh**ty on 7 cylinders. If so, get a new injector. If not, get a new injector and another ECM.

so i checked the injectors for 12 volts....and both sides had 12 volts...so i tried changing the distributor pickup....and it started ran and drove...then when i shut it off and went to start it back up....once again it has no injector pulse...

Sounds like either a faulty ECM or the ignition module in the distributor (is that what you are calling the pickup).

Just for clarity...
Unplug an injector.
Measure resistance on the injector..NOT the plug.
What's the reading?
Do this to all 8 and post....*seems* to me you're reading the plug side, not the injector.
