Fuel Pump Recomendations?

Hey Guys,

My factory fuel pump bit the dust. My car has an LS1 engine so I need more pressure than stock.

Can anyone recomend a good high performance replacement unit that does not require modification. In other words I would like one that will fit right into the old in tank bracket setup.

Also, any hints on replacement would be great.

BILL

Ive got a Holley in tank unit and it works great. I think its the 255lph one. I paid a little over $100 for it. That should be plenty for the LS1 engine with mods done. Have fun changing it. make sure you have a case of beer handy and few helping hands. DO NOT CUT THE CAR OPEN. take the rear out.

I have a Walbro. I like it. Others run them that I know and like their Walbros as well.

As noted above, google search, Walbro fuel pump, pick a distributor..... Done.

Thanks guys. I ended up with a walbro unit (HP 255?) This looks like it will be a pain in the A$$. Of course I filled the tank 5 minutes before this happened.

The rear will be droped. No way am I going to cut the body.

go w/ the racetronix kit that is designed for higher pressure applications... i know the LS1 cars run more like 55-60 psi...

here is a link to the racetronix page

http://www.racetronix.com/product/RX..._Pump_Kit.html

the gss340m is the pump for the higher pressure use... i know several guys who have run those...
