about to start modding where to start
ok i got the engine running top notch performance now...plugs wires, cap, rotor, o2 sensor, fuel filter, new distrubtor msd pro billet, msd 8.5heli core wires, with the bosh platnim 4+ plugs...
ok i want to do a cam i want my upper end torque and hp.....but where to start headers, exhaust, than super ram and cam or which order i want the best hp for my money and im trying to get mid to low 13's and keep it a daily driver. i pulled a 14.2 completly stock not even the throttle body coolant bypass

Well Personally I would say you can hit mid 13's with a stock TPI intake. You'll need exhaust work (good headers, and probably 3" all the way back, high flow cat and nice muffler). I'd say a cam, maybe some porting on the heads, or aftermarket heads and some tuning.
You didn't say what engine you have now, I assume it's TPI since it's in the TPI section... or what times you running after your many mods.. but I think it could be pulled off fairly easily. You may want to think about some gears, and a higher stall torque converter, shift kit and possibly a corvette servo.
My guess is you'll need some suspension mods to keep yourself on the track, you might end up with too much power for your stock suspension to put to the road.

2800 stall convertor, big tube runners, 52mm tb, and long-tube headers with a cat-back exhaust will get you there.

No he's not. He said he wants to hit mid 13's and he's running 14.2 now, and the convertor is the first mod he should do. I would leave the rear gears alone at 3.27. The only thing the 3.73's will do is eat your gas mileage if you drive the car alot. You will get a bigger gain from the convertor, headers, cat-back, runners, afpr, and tb and porting the plenum.

he'll do fine with just nice headers & exhaust and cold air intake. That will probably get him into the 13s.
The convertor is to much of a PITA. And that will eat gas worse than the 3.73s. Runners would be a good idea, but not required. Same goes for AFPR. Porting the plenum would be a VERY good idea. Getting a bigger TB is definetly not needed, as you could get a lot better parts for the money, and you aren't even close as to need it.

Another potential problem with doing the converter is traction. I have a friend who was running 14.7's, and figured a new tranny and converter would get him deep into the 14's, possibly high 13's. He put in a ACT 9.5" 2400 RPM Stall Converter and a Pro-built Tranny, and now he has traction problems and can't really break into the 14's anymore. He spins all the way through first, and finally gets traction in 2nd. He also has 3.73's.
I think if you do the converter, you too might have traction problems.
Like I orginally said, I'd go for Exhaust first, with good headers and a new High Flow Cat... see where that puts you. After that, you could take either road... meaning do more engine work, or put in some gears and torque converter.
If you are planning a t-56 swap, I'd say do some engine work, port your heads or throw new heads on, port the plenum, maybe do some work on the intake base, and I think by that point you'll be closing in on low 13's.
If you do the Corvette heads, you will no longer be smog legal, as they do not have the EGR Heat Risers, I don't know if that is an issue to you. I would say you should run some thin gaskets with them, try to bump up the compression a little.

Well I'd say a t-56 will help your mileage out a bit, Seeing as it is a manual, and the 6th gear is pretty high (what are they? .68??)
I suffer from poor mileage around town, but on the highway I average 18 miles per gallon, around town I believe I get about 12.5 mpg at the best. Average per tank, which is both highway and around town driving is usually 15.5 mpg, depending on how much highway driving I do. And this is with an automatic, and a 3.08 rear end.

I know how you feel, I have driven it very lightly and still get the same mileage... I think my cat is part clogged tho. Time for a new MAF also I thin, maybe all that would give me back some lost HP and gas mileage.
