Throttle Body Question

Just checkin' to see what the difference is between the 85-88 Throttle Bodies and the 89-92's. I know when you order aftermarket TB's it has those two applications. I have a Mini-Ram intake....if that makes any difference.

Thanks

The big difference is the way the throttle cables are attached....mainly the arm where the cable hooks on is different. Plus the cables themselves are different at the ends.

Early TBs had the cable secured on the throttle arm with a small clip.

On later TBs the cable has a plastic piece on the end that you just snap into place on the throttle arm.

There is also a difference in the IAC passages.
