check engine light FLASHES at WOT wtf?

Engine: lt1 intaked 355 makin 277 on 25 psi of fuel pressure and stock timing :)
Transmission: A4 stock... that moved a mobile dyno a foot shifting into 2nd :)
check engine light FLASHES at WOT wtf?

ok my trans am's check engine light flashes at WOT above like 4grand only... and doesnt through any codes... already pulled the maf to see what the deal was but thats not it... replaced the ignition module thinkin it was bad but same problem.... the fuel pressure does blead off when i try to start it but dontknow if that was adding to the problem

yea well it kinda seems like its cuttin out... is surges and surges untill the rpms are kicked back down under like 4 k ie shifting into the next gear....

Hmmn, if the SES is flashing during the miss, then I'd suspect you're losing ignition pulses...since you changed the ICM already, I'd suggest a look at the PU Coil for corrosion at the connector and the PU coil itself.

funny u said that when i changed the module i notice that the connector had be broken apart either from heat fatiqe or something of the sort should i remove them and heat shrink it?so i do not get a arc?or replace the pick up assembly?

I'd replace it. Cost is about $10.00.

You need to remove the dizzy, knock the roll pin out of the drive gear, take the gear off and slide the shaft out to get the PU coil out.
