super ram install tips
what are the torque specs for the plenum lid bolts, the plenum runner bolts and the runner manifold bolts?
-also, is there a way to download the SR install directions anywhere? well...i guess all i really need is the bolt specs.
-also, I tried to take off my plenum lid, but after i took the bolts out, it was stuck. What do you think the best way to do this is...thanks?

Lingenfelter.com has directions to download.
Your lid has probably been RTV'd. You will need to pry it up a little. Careful not to chew up the aluminum.
HUGE tip. Bore out the 4 center holes in the plenum and use a bolt/nut instead. As for the other Plenum bolts, take your dremmel tool with cut-off wheel and cut a slit in the end of the bolts. Then you can use a screwdriver to run them up from the top. You should re-tap the plenum holes as well, this will allow the bolts to run up easier.
These tricks will make a six hour job a 1 hour job.
I have had my Superram off about 4 times.

Someone else has a huge thread concerning this. Check it out. It details what I said plus some more stuff.
As for torq speqs, I don't think the directions ever had them. I hand tightened everything.
Make sure you gasket match as well. The EGR tube presents a big vacuum leak because the gasket holes are to big.

If you look at the small port in your runner. It resides on the passenger rear ports if you can imagine it installed. It's a small port molded next to the 2 big runners (cylinder 8 & 6 Ithink). That small port is used for the EGR. That hole in the gasket is way to big and it presents a vacuum leak so bad that you can see it at the top of the gasket. This is the runner to the manifold connection. I went as far as getting some gasket paper and making my own (exacto blade and dremmel tool). Made the hole the right size.

Ya, That will do I guess - just identify the problem and work with it. Build the manifold and runners on the bench and gasket match everything. I had to take my dremmel tool with sanding wheel and notch the gasket bolt holes to match the ports better and make a better seal. They sit crooked out of the box (factory stamping sucks). Nothing is true bolt on, EVERYTHING is custom.
Did you get the lid off? Here's an idea. Find a piece of wood or something similar and stick it through one of the runner openings and gently hit the bottom of the lid with the piece of wood and a hammer. That's what I would do anyway.
