I'll see if I can get a scanner or something, but peak power was 4600 RPM and the torque was from 3300 through- 4100. All the runs were from 3K and up.

AF Ratio was 13.7 (3400-3800) 3900 was 12.8 4000 was 11.8 and it was down hill from there. Next time were going to try to lean up the upper end and see what happens. We were accually having a hard time doing it i the chip. We were taking a TON of fuel away and it was still shoing 10 on the AF by 4500 all through 6K.

We are using a VERY lighly modified prom until we figure out why we cant take fuel away at upper rpms. Only change was the constant for the LS1 injectors and the fans and of couse trying to pull fuel out.

Accually www.LSRacingchips.com was doing it for me. Hes a friend of mine so maybe my graph is up there somewhere. I'll have to ask if he has the origional run. the first one run was the best. By the time 8 runs was done and my temp was way past 220 we were only getting 260ish/370

Something is wrong. You definately have a mismatch in your combo. You should be making at least 50rwhp more with a well matched combo given 383 cubes.

Well I am running -5* base timing because anything advanced more then that and I get major valve chatter. Not pinging. You can accually hear the valves, but if its retarded that much it doesnt do it.

Holy smokes...no wonder you didn't make any power! I'm a little fuzzy on your "valve clatter" statement.

Matt,

Nice, very nice!!! Glad to see things are moving along for you. I would always offer my assistance, but you are much more knowledgeable than I. I'm sure you guys will work out the "bugs" and reach you full potential.

Jim

Were going to work on the valve chatter next week and hope to fix that problem. I would like to get 300 RWHP and hit the 400 TQ.

did you port out that edelbrock manifold? i bet if you opened them up you would gain 10rwhp right there and probly more

other than that... your combo looks good for easy 300rwhp. hope you get that chatter fixed up and advance that timing some.

i think 320rwp isnt out of the question
